Not Aunt Edna’s Christmas Sweater

A playful and chic take on the holiday sweater, this vintage Inscription Rykiel purple pullover sweater has tinsel embellishment on the sleeves. Never worn, it still has its original tags from Marshall Field’s.

The Inscription Rykiel collection, introduced in 1989, was designed by Nathalie Rykiel (Sonia's daughter). The label’s name was changed to Sonia by Sonia Rykiel in 2005.

The sweater is also a nod to Sonia Rykiel’s signature piece. She is, after all, known as the “Queen of Knits.”
